About Altered
Altered is a free online tools website created for people who need quick, practical utilities without installing software, creating an account, or dealing with complicated screens. The platform includes calculators, document generators, text tools, image helpers, developer utilities, student tools, property tools, business tools, and everyday productivity tools.
Our long-term goal is to build a complete online tools platform with 1,000+ useful tools to empower you. That means fast pages, clear forms, mobile-friendly layouts, helpful examples, printable outputs where needed, and tools that run directly in the browser whenever possible.
Scope and focus
Altered is focused on building a fast, useful online tools platform with 1,000+ calculators, generators, converters, document tools, and everyday utilities. The site is designed for students preparing assignments, property users calculating commissions, small business owners creating invoices and receipts, creators formatting content, developers checking data, and everyday users who need reliable calculations or generated documents.
We focus on practical intent: a visitor should be able to land on a page, understand what the tool does, enter the required values, see a clear result, copy or download the output when relevant, and continue to a related tool without confusion.
Developers
Altered is developed by Mahad and Mehdi Developers. For business inquiries, corrections, tool suggestions, or partnership requests, email mahadb847@gmail.com.
How we build tools
Each tool is planned around a real user task. We prefer simple labels, readable results, responsive layouts, accessible controls, semantic HTML, and crawlable content. For document-style tools such as invoices, receipts, bills, and slips, the goal is to provide a preview and export flow that feels useful for real work.
We avoid unnecessary API-key requirements for public tools where browser-based logic is enough. Some tools may still require careful human review, especially when the output affects money, tax, legal documents, education, employment, or official records.
Editorial standard
Content is written to be practical, original, and useful. Pages are structured with clear headings, examples, FAQs, internal links, and descriptions that help both users and search engines understand the purpose of the page.
We do not guarantee Google ranking, legal outcomes, tax accuracy, financial results, academic marks, or official acceptance of generated documents. Online tools are helpful assistants; important results should always be checked against the relevant policy, professional advice, or official requirement.
